History Ireland, first launched in 1993, is Ireland’s largest dedicated history magazine. It was taken over by the Wordwell Group in 2003 and, under the editorship of Tommy Graham, has been going from strength to strength over that time.
Each issue of History Ireland covers a wide variety of topics, from the earliest times to the present day, in an effort to give the reader a sense of the distant past but also to offer a contemporary edge. Every article is illustrated with photographs, maps or paintings to provide a deep insight of the topic.
History Ireland is published six times annually and the full archive of articles, features, reviews and more is available to all print and digital subscribers.
In addition to access to the full archive of History Ireland, all print and digital subscribers are eligible for free access to the JSTOR Ireland Collection.
