Can you help?

The Cultural Traditions Group of the Community Relations Council is compiling a booklet which will detail all those involved with cultural life in Northern Ireland, whether individuals or organisations. Can you or your organisation help?

The areas to be covered include city life, community drama and dance, family life and games, genealogy, industrial archaeology, the Irish language and dialects, local and photographic history, material cultures, media, music, oral traditions, visual arts, religious traditions, sports, symbols, trades unions, voluntary organisations, women’s history and working life.

Everyone knows someone who is involved in at least one aspect of cultural life, whether it is someone who has their own private collection of photographs or records or is actively involved with a particular organisation.

The booklet will be an invaluable resource for those in search of a guest speaker for their organisation, or involved in research. If you have any information which you feel should be included contact Jem Crosbie, 89 Clifton Road, Bangor, Co. Down, BT20 5HY.
