My grand father move to FRANCE during or after the independence of Ireland. Since he made is professionnel life and maried a french women who became my grand mother. I don’t know very much about his life.I knew who was born in the county of Clare. I haven’t had the opportunity to met him. I went to visit the house where he was born; one of his nephew is heading the farm. My father did say very much about him. So for me it’s difficult to find out my irish root, even if I know the other members who live in Ireland. We don’t have any relation ship beetwen us, so it’s difficult to be in touch.I hope one day probably to go back to Ireland and find all my ancestors.
