The Irish History Students’ Association’s annual conference will take place in the University of Limerick 4-6 February 2000. The Association will be celebrating the golden jubilee of its foundation in 1950. For those fifty years the IHSA has brought together students of history from every part of the country to discuss historical matters. The Limerick 2000 Conference is intended to be the biggest and most spectacular conference ever staged by the Association and will bring together both student and academic to celebrate the occasion. The Association invites any undergraduate or postgraduate student who has an interest in history to present a paper (thirty minutes in length, deadline: 21 January 2000).
